Anyone with a passion for computer graphics, animation and emerging technologies is heading to the SIGGRAPH Asia Conference, which takes place from 17-20 November in Brisbane, Australia this year.
Our very own Diana Arellano, Team Lead / Python Developer in the Pipeline Department in Stuttgart, is one of the organizers of one of the ACM SIGGRAPH Frontiers Workshops that are held as part of SIGGRAPH Asia.
Together with Elizabeth Baron (former Technical Specialist in Virtual Reality and Advanced Visualization at Ford Motor Company) and Mashhuda Glencross (Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at The University of Queensland), she will be leading through the workshop „CG for Autonomous Vehicles and Car Experience”. During the workshop, the state-of-the-art advances and future trends in the use of Computer Graphics in autonomous vehicles and the driving experience will be presented. Visitors have the opportunity to contribute to exciting discussions about the future of the driving experience and receive valuable expert insights.
Diana Arellano will also hold a keynote about “Real-time Engines for Safety Relevant Autonomous Driving Simulations”. She will present current projects of the Future Technologies group of Mackevision, specifically their work on realtime data generation for sensor validation in autonomous vehicles.
