Premiere at the Art Directors Club for Germany (ADC): Mackevision wins at Germany’s most important creative festival for the first time in the company’s history. The work “Ocean Mind Experience“, created in cooperation with documentary filmmaker Daniel Opitz on behalf of Coral World International, received two “Nails”, the ADC price – silver in the category “Digital Communication / Digital Installation” and bronze in the category “Spatial Experience / Craft / Media / Film”. The great performance of the world market leader for Computer Generated Imagery is complemented by two shortlist places of the “Ocean Mind Experience” in the categories “Animation” and “Exhibition Experience themed”.
Mackevision created a perfectly realistic stereoscopic 3D experience that enables the audience to discover the whales and their natural habitat. It gives the audience the opportunity to observe and reflect on a world they would never have had access to due to nature and animal welfare laws.
“The success at the ADC shows what our vision of the Digital Twin is capable of,” said Steffen Bärenfänger, Global Creative Lead at Mackevision. “We are delighted to be able to support the good results of our colleagues at Accenture Interactive and Kolle Rebbe.”
The awards were presented last Friday, May 24, in Hamburg.
Mackevision will also be represented at the world’s most important advertising festival in Cannes, which starts on June 17. There, Mackevision will present several demos as part of the Accenture Interactive supporting program and participate in the international competition with the Ocean Mind Experience and 3 other cases.
