Mackevision and Accenture Interactive Compete in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2019

Digital twins on the Côte d’Azur: Mackevision brings virtual worlds to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the biggest advertising festival on the planet. From June 17 to 21, the world’s CGI market leader will be entering not one but four pieces of creative work into the contest for the coveted prizes: Its Thrill up your Beast for Apollo tires, PETA’s Best Friend, underwater virtual Ocean Mind Experience and last but not least Holoride, hyper-immersive in-car XR/VR experience, a collaboration project with SinnerScrader inside our Accenture Interactive family.

More than 15,000 creatives and marketing experts from all corners of the globe will be meeting to discuss the latest communication trends at the world’s biggest advertising festival in Cannes.

On board the Accenture Interactive M/Y Accama yacht in the town’s harbor, daily, from June 17 till June 20 the Mackevision team will be presenting two of its latest demos from the worlds of brand, product and experience communication, the virtual underwater world of the Ocean Mind Experience and Porsche’s Virtual Reality Design Presenter.

Furthermore, the Ocean Mind Experience can be viewed on Sunday, June 16, and Tuesday till Thursday, June 18 to 20, from 17:00, in the Weischer Media Lounge on Boulevard de la Croisette – entrence 16 rue des Belges opposite the Palais des Festivals. During the festival, Mackevision will also be present at events and there will be opportunities to network.

Ocean Mind Experience: A Deep Dive into VR

Mackevision has brought Maui’s humpback whales and their natural habitat to life in a stereoscopic 3D experience. As a result, viewers can immerse themselves in a world that they wouldn’t otherwise encounter in reality due to conservation and animal protection laws.

 

Explore Porsche’s 911 Design up Close and Personal

For the world premiere of the new Porsche 911, Mackevision presented the design highlights in virtual reality. Users experienced the continuation of a design dynasty and the comparison between tradition and modernity from various 360-degree perspectives.
