As part of his keynote „Creating Fantasy Worlds for TV“ on September 29th Heiko Burkardsmaier provides insights into the connection between digital worlds in the future at the Stuttgart conference “Alles echt? Innovationsfaktor Virtuelle und Erweiterte Realität”.
Heiko Burkardsmaier, head of the VFX department, explains within his talk “Creating Fantasy Worlds for TV” how digital worlds will continuously connect with each other in the future.
At the “Alles echt? Innovationsfaktor Virtuelle und Erweiterte Realität” conference on September 29th at the Hospitalhof in Stuttgart, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing Baden-Wurttemberg will bring virtual interactive technology in dialog. The demand for high-quality digital productions increases continuously and the topic of virtual reality spreads in all directions. On the basis of the examples “Game of Thrones” and “The Shannara Chronicles” Heiko Burkardsmaier will show how digital fantasy worlds are created at Mackevision.
In collaboration with the Steinbeis-Europe-Centre the virtual interactive technology’s innovation factor will be displayed. It will not only be clarified to users but also to research institutions and promotion of economic development that an increase in creative possibilities, freedom to develop and an expanded range of simulation possibilities are advantageous in any case in order to stay competitive at the global market.
